Hello!

I setup BOINC Synergy using HTML. The codes are visible, so I tried changing the description to bb code. It still has the HTML info I put in the first time.

I am unable to edit the team description :)

There is a delay from the time you enter the info until the pages refresh. Team info is cached.

Happens to me all the time on all projects.

Wait a while, it should be correct within 24 hours, if not after that some can look for a problem.

Notes on this issue:

Currently if team founders edit the team description, all html is converted to &...; and then the team page no longer displays as actual html, but as the html code.

example:
<B>text</B> is changed to &lt;B&gt;text&lt;/B&gt; and instead of displaying as text, displays as <B>text</B>.
Links do not work, banners don\'t display, and so on.

This was reported, and Rytis fixed it quicker than quick. (Many thanks to Rytis)

It was a bug.

To correct this an update needs to be done to
team_edit_action.php
team_create_action.php
as in Changeset 13052

Hope this clearly explains this mystery.

This appears to be Fixed. I updated team USA yesterday and now it is back to normal (readable).
