The "Resource share and graphics -- PS3GRID preferences" settings in your Account is where you set your Resource Share for each Project. not wure what you mean by profiles, unless that referes to the venues 'default, home, school, work' All computers remain on your single account. Make sure you use 6.3.14, a few of the previous versions had an XML bug and will make this not work, verison prior to 6.3.10 should be OK. The only way to adjust 'resource share' to be different for different computers on the same project is use venues. Other settings can be done locally, but resource share is the only one that is project only. It's very easy though, is use all 4 with no problems. First set one up here. You don't need to change it on all projects, jst here if this is the only one you want a differnet resource share. Go to your account select PS3GRID preferences you should already have 'default' set, the first one shown. Write down the numbers or setting if you need to or memorize them. select one of the other venues, your choice. make the settings for this venue the same as the default, except for the resource share you want to be differnet. save. Before doing this, note this. Once you change these here, PS3GRID will become your master setting account. You may want to do this on your exsisting master project. You only need to do this on one project, once set, they will echo to your hosts and back to other projects as they communicate, eventually becoming the same on all projects and hosts. next go back to your account find 'computing preferences' again make note of all of these settings. select the same venue you selected for PS3GRID preferences. fill in all the options as you noted. save. Go back to your account find computers on this account. selecet view find the computer you want to have the different resour share. select's it id number. at the bottom you will see a venue box, change it to the new venue you selected. save. Last you will have to do a manual update on the host for this project to get new settings. If you updated at you master project you need to update that project too first. You can also just wait and within 24 hours, maybe more or less, you host should have contacted most projects and the settings will automatically go into effect. I think I have included all steps.
