Also a question on bridging, does that offer any advantages over running 2 separate GPU's and how does bridging work exactly? I am just starting to read up on it. What you call "bridging" is named SLI for Nvidia cards and Crossfire for AMD. Not useful for distributed computing for any application or project AFAIK. Actually decreases performance. No science apps are written to use it AFAIK. | |
