Its flowers are quite ephemeral, they last only a few days, and in this picture can be seen flowers at incipient state, in blossom, and decaying ones. It's very rare to find something like this. And casually (or not), I took it as an allegory to my avatar picture. The meaning: Scientific research may transit spiny ways, but sometimes this lead to wonderful flowers, and then to fruits (!)
