	Hello, I tried to join the project but BOINC manager 7.16.11 is stating "Failed to add Project" Can you assist with this?

	Too old a client?? I can't remember how far back the security certificates are expired in the older clients and won't connect to most projects. Upgrade to a newer BOINC version or replace the ca-certs file with a newer version. That will fix your connection issues.

	Thanks. I periodically check for a new BOINC versions through the help selections and found none. I updated to the most recent version and have successfully added GPUGRD. Thanks for the assist!

	The check for updates in the Help section of the client hasn't worked for years. Best is always to check the official Download page at BOINC. https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php
