Wanting to start with GPU I bought a GTX260 a couple of months ago, together with a 650W PS with 2 PCI-E 8-pin (6+2) power connectors (18 A per rail or 216 W each line).
A GTX260 has 2 6-pin power receptacles, so i used both power connectors 6 pins only. Working great since then.

Now my question.
I am considering to put in a second GTX260 (prices dropped to +/- 160 euro).
In theory, i could do this with my current 650W PS using the 2 additional pins of each power line on the second power receptacle of each GTX260. The 18A/216W should do the job.
However, not knowing how the internal power lines and distribution of the GTX260 run, does this actually work?

Would appreciate advice of anyone that tried this already.
